Toyota Prius G Prepares to Launch in Japan

Do you ever wish that your Toyota Prius had a little more kick to it? We here at Hoy-Fox Toyota don't blame you. The lauded hybrid features stellar fuel economy, but we understand that it comes at a cost to performance. The people at Toyota know this too, which is why they've opted to give the Prius a little bit of an aggressive edge overseas.
More specifically, Toyota is planning to launch a more aggressive variant of the Prius in Japan, officially dubbed the Prius G. This new model doesn't differ too much from the S trim of the current Prius. Rather, it simply packs a more edgy body kit, slightly reworked suspension, and is accented with a subtle racing stripe on the doors. Under the hood, the Prius G stay true to its roots. After all, is still meant to be a Prius.
So what do you think? Will this new Prius give car buyers a whole new reason to check out the fuel-sipping hybrid? Or does the Prius G need to talk the talk, and walk the walk... Or should we say drive? Personally, we think that the Prius G is the perfect blend of attitude and efficiency, but we'd love to know what you think too. Leave us a comment below!
Thus far, Toyota has only confirmed the new Prius G for a launch in Japan, but we wouldn't be surprised if it eventually made its way over to the United States as well. Not interested in a hybrid? Then feel free to check out the rest of the new Toyota lineup that we carry here at 11165 Gateway West El Paso, TX 79935.
